BEFORE EVERYTHING ELSE

Start With Jesus

Christianity can sometimes seem buried beneath denominations, traditions, arguments, politics, personalities, and theological vocabulary.

But Christianity begins with Jesus Christ.

Before trying to understand every doctrine or settle every disagreement, spend some time listening to what Jesus actually said about God, salvation, faith, forgiveness, discipleship, and eternal life.

“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”

NEED SOMETHING FOR TODAY?

A Word for Today

Sometimes the best starting point isn’t a long article or a theological study. Sometimes you simply need a few quiet minutes with Scripture.

Choose a subject such as hope, faith, suffering, forgiveness, peace, strength, guidance, or Christian living.

A NOTE ABOUT THE NAME

Mountain Veteran Ministries Is for Everyone

“Mountain Veteran” refers to the person behind the ministry—not the people the ministry is intended to reach.

The name comes from one veteran’s own walk with Christ, years of questions, study, faith, struggle, and a desire to help others find their way to Jesus.

Whether you’ve served in the military or never worn a uniform, whether you’ve attended church for decades or never walked through the doors, you’re welcome here.
