Start Here

You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. Whether you’re exploring Christianity, coming back after years away, or simply wondering what you really believe, the best place to start is with Jesus.

Begin the Journey
Keep It Simple

You Don’t Have to Learn Everything at Once

Christianity can seem complicated when you first encounter all the doctrines, denominations, debates, traditions, and theological language.

But the Christian faith begins somewhere much simpler: with Jesus Christ — who He is, what He has done, and what it means to trust and follow Him.

01
Start With Jesus

Who Is Jesus—Really?

Before worrying about denominations, church traditions, theological systems, or religious arguments, begin with the person at the center of Christianity.

Jesus did not simply claim to be a wise teacher. His words, actions, death, and resurrection forced people then — and still force us today — to decide who we believe He really is.

02
Understand the Gospel

What Does It Mean to Be Saved?

Christianity is not mainly about becoming more religious or trying harder to become a better person.

At the center of the Gospel is the claim that God has acted through Jesus Christ to rescue, forgive, reconcile, and restore people who could never save themselves.

03
Begin Following

What Happens After You Believe?

Jesus did not simply invite people to believe something about Him. He invited them to follow Him.

Following Jesus is a lifelong journey of learning, trusting, changing, failing, getting back up, growing in grace, and becoming more like Christ.

Still Have Questions?

Questions Don’t Disqualify You

Maybe your biggest obstacle isn’t knowing where to begin. Maybe you have a question that keeps getting in the way: suffering, doubt, science, hypocrisy, other religions, or whether the Bible can really be trusted.

You do not have to pretend those questions aren’t there.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28

Christianity begins not with our ability to find God, but with the invitation of Jesus to come to Him.
