Welcome to Wy’East Community Church

Looking for a Church?
There’s a Place for You Here.

You don’t need a perfect past, all the answers, or everything in life figured out.

Come discover a church family where you can belong, grow in God’s Word, and experience the love and hope of Jesus Christ.

Maybe you’ve been part of a church all your life. Maybe it’s been years. Or perhaps you’re still wondering what faith in Jesus really means.

At Wy’East Community Church, we’re ordinary people brought together by the grace of an extraordinary Savior.

We’re a small country church family rooted in the Hood River Valley, seeking to know Jesus, follow His Word, and love our neighbors.

Jesus Is Our Center

Why Do We Worship Jesus?

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our Savior and Lord. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He offers forgiveness, reconciliation, and new life.

We gather to worship not because we are perfect, but because Jesus is worthy.

Whether you’ve known Christ for decades or are still discovering who He is, we invite you to explore His truth.

Discover the Truth of God’s Word

Why Study the Bible?

The Bible helps us know God, understand Jesus Christ, and learn how to live with faith, wisdom, and love.

Through Scripture, we discover answers to life’s deepest questions and find guidance for everyday challenges.

You don’t have to be a Bible expert. Questions are welcome, and learning is part of the journey.

Meet Our Leadership

People Who Care About People

Our pastor and elders seek to serve Christ by faithfully teaching Scripture, praying for others, and caring for our church family.

Lead Pastor

Pastor Doug Massingill

Pastor Doug serves both our Odell and Pine Grove congregations.

Through biblical teaching, preaching, prayer, and pastoral care, he seeks to encourage people to know and follow Jesus.

Our Church Elders

Alongside our pastor, our elders offer spiritual guidance, encouragement, and care for our church family.

Life Together

There’s Always Room at the Table

Church life doesn’t end when Sunday morning worship is over.

Through fellowship, shared meals, church events, prayer, and caring for our neighbors, we build relationships that encourage our faith.

We’d love for you to get to know our church family.

Questions About Jesus or Faith?

You Don’t Have to Have All the Answers

Whether you’re exploring Christianity, returning to faith, or looking to grow deeper, your questions matter. We welcome honest conversations about Jesus, Scripture, and the Christian life.

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Psalm 119:105 (NIV)
